Over the past few weeks, several European card and payments providers have come under increased regulatory scrutiny.

Our card issuer has informed us that recent regulatory action affecting their BIN sponsor, Quicko, has led to the immediate and unexpected suspension of our current card program.

As a result, all card balances have been returned to your Stables balance. Card top-ups, new card creation, and card spending will be temporarily unavailable.

Prior to this disruption, we had already begun integrating with an alternative card provider (

) to upgrade the card experience and enable features such as physical cards and ATM withdrawals. This integration is now in its final stages, though not yet fully live.

While we are now accelerating the transition, final timelines remain subject to external regulatory and partner approvals.

We’re also exploring whether limited use of the current cards (e.g., up to certain thresholds such as $1k per transaction) may still be possible during the wind-down period over the next 2–3 months, and expect more clarity later this week.

In the meantime, we recommend using another card if possible. However, if you have urgent or critical card payments to make, please contact our support team. We may be able to issue one-time-use virtual cards as a temporary solution.
